I'm reading through the gospels to learn more about how Jesus discipled His followers. Sally Clarkson emphasizes how His model is so important for us as parents. I will add all the characteristics to this blog as learn them in the gospels.
1. Jesus was always willing
"I will; be clean." Matt8v3
"I will come and heal him." Matt8v7
Jesus also immediately healed Peter's mom.
As a mom I must be willing to help my children, to be there for them, to nurture them and love them when they are healthy and when they are sick; to listen to them; to train them; to play with them and to help them.
